Hi, I’m Kayla Bones, student, music lover, inquirer, collar bone hater, and book worm. I live in Fargo, ND where I am a the Director of Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church. In May, I graduated from Concordia College with a degree in religion and a minor in music.
This past winter, I found two new passions of mine: writing and talking about body image and sex. Body theology has become a huge interest of mine. Many of the posts on this blog will be about how body image, sex, young women, and social justice intertwine. Though I cannot guarantee that all my blog posts will be about body theology, many of them will deal with religion in some way.
I grew up in the country near Watertown, SD, the better Dakota. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends, watch movies, and go exploring. As I begin to figure out my calling and vocation, I may go on to seminary to get my Masters in Theology or Masters of Divinity.
